This Privacy Policy explains how Maskira Team ("Maskira", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Maskira application and related services (the "Service").
Age Requirement (17+). The Service is intended for users who are at least 17 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17.

1) Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information collected automatically, and (c) information collected with your permission.
- Information you provide: name, username, email; customer support messages; event content you choose to enter (title, date, time, location text, contact details, tags).
- Collected automatically: device information, usage analytics, performance metrics, crash logs and diagnostics.
- With permission: precise or approximate location (if enabled); photos and camera access (if you choose to add a cover image).
2) How We Use Your Information
- Provide and maintain the Service.
- Personalize preferences and organization.
- Improve features, reliability, and performance.
- Secure the Service and prevent abuse.
- Support and respond to requests.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3) Photos, Face Data, and Biometric Information
- No face recognition / biometric profiling: Maskira does not perform facial recognition or create biometric templates.
- One-time processing and deletion: if you choose to upload an image for a one-time processing feature, we process it to deliver the requested result and delete it promptly after processing, unless required for security, troubleshooting, or legal compliance.
- Local storage by default: cover images and event content are generally stored on your device unless you choose to upload or publish content that requires server processing.
- Not used for training or marketing: we do not use your photos, images, or generated outputs to train advertising systems or for marketing purposes.
4) Optional AI-Assisted Features (If Enabled)
Some features may offer AI-assisted generation or editing of content only when you explicitly choose to use them.
- What may be processed: the text and/or images you select and submit.
- Where processing happens: on Maskira-controlled servers.
- No third-party sharing: we do not share submitted content with third-party providers for processing.
- Deletion after processing: submitted content is deleted promptly after processing completes.
- Your control: you decide whether to upload content and generate outputs.
5) Cookies, Similar Technologies, and Web Beacons
If parts of the Service are delivered via web content, we may use cookies or similar technologies (including web beacons) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure reliability.
6) How We Share Information
- Service providers (processors): hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support tooling, under contractual obligations.
- With your consent or at your direction.
- Legal reasons and lawful requests.
- Protect rights and safety and enforce terms.
We share information only as necessary and in the minimum amount needed.
7) International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.
8) Security
- Encryption in transit and at rest (where appropriate).
- Access controls and least-privilege practices.
- Regular audits and monitoring.
- Backups and recovery processes.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9) Data Retention
- Account data: while your account is active.
- Account deletion: delete or anonymize within 30 days, subject to legal and security needs.
- Usage analytics: up to 12 months.
- Support records: up to 6 months.
10) Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where we rely on consent.
